Eliss Infinity App Reviews

Move, Split, Merge

Minimalistic gameplay at its best!

Disappointing

Game looks great in the App Store but is a real let-down when played. The menu is confusing and makes little sense and no introduction or explanation is given, combined with horrid graphics this leaves me disappointed.

A Classic Returns

Steph Thirions classic puzzler Eliss is back with even more spacey puzzling! It looks gorgeous on modern devices and will keep you playing even longer with the new infinite mode.

Perfect

One of the best iOS games ever. Unique, brilliant, and addictive.

Not a proper sequel

If you never played the original, definitely get this game. If you did play the original, avoid this game. This is more like Eliss 1.25 rather than Eliss 2.0, I made the mistake of not researching more and making a impulse buy, wasted my money. As soon as I started playing the same levels as before I thought, what a wasted opportunity. Why not re-skin it and add a different game mechanic but the reality is the original game maxed out its potential I guess. This is a cheap money grab now.

Still one of the best iOS games out there!!

Eliss was great Eliss infinity is even better, way more polished, new game modes and extra cameos (like a sort of mini synth). Love this game so much, even in 2 players!

Finally

Ive been waiting on this forever! My favor iOS game.

Love this game

Im so glad to see this come back. Nice job! One complaint, I miss the old pixely icon :)

Great gravy!

I conceivable no incontent unbeen bargis. Sweet jesus lady this rombulus

Georg cantor was right!

To call this game "innovative" is an understatement. This is a landmark achievement. It redefines what games are. Well, Im talking about the first version- this one actually takes that one, which was infinitely good and adds an infinite mode, making it infinitely better. And so, more than 100 years after Cantors theory on transfinite numbers was unceremoniously rejected by his contemporaries, in Eliss Infinity we now have incontrovertible proof that Cantor was right all along: Just because something is infinite in scope doesnt mean something else cant come along and be even more impressive! Everyone with at least four fingers should play this!

Awesome

I cant seem to get enough of great indie games lately. I was on the fence about purchasing this for $3 but I trusted the good reviews and this game did not let me down. Its got a great interface and it starts out easy but it gets very challenging after a bit. The coolest thing about the game is how involved you are with multitouch and using your fingers to do different tasks at the same time. It really gets your brain working!

One of the best, Again!

Great release, as the previous game. Benchmark iOS puzzler.

Great rerelease for a great game

Visually gratifying. Rhythmically satisfying. Brutally Challenging. Tactilely stimulating. I cant say enough about this great game. 100x better than flappy bird

Eliss Infinity

This game is literally iOS perfection. simple to learn, but definitely challenging as well. the endless mode has you wanting to beat your high score game after game. dont hesitate to purchase this.

Excellent revision of a previous excellent Game

Taking the best of the original Eliss, refining its mechanics, and making new modes along with sharp Retina graphics really makes this game excellent.

Hmmmm...

Now that this remakeis a top seller, shouldnt Game Center achievements be added?

Possibly the Most Important Multitouch Game

The original Eliss was maybe the most important multitouch game. At a very formative time in iOS gaming it was a statement as to what a multitouch game could be: not derivative of past video games, but forward thinking, complex, action-oriented yet a thinking-mans game. Like the classic Qix, it was a boiled-down expression of exactly what its platform was capable of. Eliss Infinity, then, is the refinement of that vision. The Infinity mode in particular, informed by such challenging successes as Super Hexagon and Ziggurat, brings an insane urgency to the already rock-solid gameplay. The day the original iPad came out I wished for this game, now, four years on, finally we have it. The Infinity mode of Eliss is to die for. What can I say about this game that isnt glowing? Heres a thing: I wish on iPad this didnt still so,ehow manage to look like a blown up iPhone game. Keep the level size and object size, but just increase the resolution. Speaking of resolution: Im no longer convinced a pixel-y aesthetic is the way to go. I think I would of preferred an art style more in the vein of your icon. Smooth circles with a digital feel to their shading. That wouldve been rad. But as an aesthetic complaint, this is minor. Eliss Infinity is the best game on iOS devices this year, a title I wouldnt be surprised to see it retain. Its important, its compelling, and above all its fun. Played in a room of non-games last night, it couldnt help bit catch everyones eye — because despite being based on a game several years old, it is surprisingly, invigoratingly fresh. Buy this. Play this. Know how good it can be, when a game doesnt pander to what you think you want but rather delivers on what it can be.

Great game

This is a very fun game, very beautiful in design and it can be a real challenge. I have one feature request: please add iCloud support for saving. This game is better on iPad but it would be nice if I could take my progress with me when I go out.

Amazing

This game has epic graphics, music and gameplay. Dont miss this gem...

Eliss is one if my favorite games of all time

No joke, its one of the best things Ive ever played. LOVE IT!!
